00:00 / 49:46

Now more than ever, there are endless opportunities vying for our kids’ time. School and homework is enough to fill a schedule, let alone sports, clubs and extra-curricular activities. That’s why its more important than ever that parents prioritize their family’s time in such a way that kids can attend church youth group. Our kids need a supportive faith community, and now is the time to help cultivate those relationship.

Youth groups help kids by providing:

-an encouraging faith community

-trusted mentors

-Christian peers

-deep friendship

Putting boundaries around our kids’ time is vital so that we protect their ability to have time to attend church and mid-week youth group meetings.

This episode was inspired by a fantastic blog post by mom and youth leader Tracey Bachert.
